  The Puck n Pint is the most vain-gloriously vulgar dive in Peterborough. A virtual shrine to a an old hockey has-been, trying to re-live his glory days like a character out out of The Great Gatsby. It desperately suffers thru inevitably rude patrons middle-aged and older who fake smiles and successful winning Pro-line bettin stories to one another. Cheering for the Puck n Pint is like cheering for the Leafs. Futile.
  There's one day out of a month when the place is slightly cool: Karaoke night with Terry. The rest of the Open Mike nights, you'll want to plug your ears to the unnecessarily loud volumes of unoriginal Cover Bands.
  As for the food...see the standard Sysco Truck menu.

  This pub is a throwback to when sports bars were still cool. That said, the staff are friendly, the regulars are entertaining and friendly and the live music is pretty good most of the time. The food is very 'home cooked' style but reasonable in pricing and most importantly - the beer is cold!
